中国国家主席习近平9月24日访问白宫，会晤美国总统特朗普（Donald Trump，又译川普），特朗普带习近平一同登上美国总统“海军陆战队一号”（Marine One）直升机参观。

两人进入直升机内参观，由于白宫南草坪早前才启用新建的花岗岩直升机停机坪，供新一代“海军陆战队一号”起降，故此据美媒记者指，特朗普这次也是向习近平展示新的停机坪。

影片显示两人在停机坪上互有对答，气氛友好，特朗普不断向习近平解说，习近平也不时点头及回应，两人之后一同登上“海军陆战队一号”，参观直升机内部。

路透社报道，在两人登上“海军陆战队一号”直升机前，特朗普回应在场记者的提问，他指与习近平进行了一次“很好的会面”。

川普的手势指向直升机停机坪上的总统徽章，习近平点头示意；川普也向习近平展示了正在兴建中的宴会厅。

这座新的直升机停机坪以大面积花岗岩为特色。川普对记者说：“他(习近平)精通石材，尤其喜欢花岗岩。”据白宫记者团表示，习近平站在一旁一言不发，面无表情。
